  • The early educational journey of Ronald Anthony Dicarlo began at Churchill High School, a platform that shaped his future milestones. A thirst for knowledge led him to enrol at Dayton University. After spending fruitful years there, he discovered his interest in dental medicine, which prompted his transfer to the University of Pittsburgh. It was here that Ron earned his degree in Dental Medicine. As a freshman in dental school, he met his soulmate, and they tied the knot on April 8th, 1972, during his sophomore year.

     

    Ron and his partner cultivated a loving family, raising three boys and two girls. Ron was not just a devoted father but also served as the family's dentist. His dental practice was unique, boasting a "wall of fame" filled with pictures and narratives representing his life and patients. This personal approach invited trust and warmth, fostering enduring bonds with his patients.

     

    Ronald courageously battled multiple sclerosis (MS), a struggle he managed to keep secret from his loved ones and patients until the physical manifestations became apparent. Despite the trials that MS brought, he never allowed himself to wallow in self-pity. Instead, he leveraged it as a stimulus for self-improvement, relentlessly striving to navigate the hurdles he faced. Ron's tenacity and grit have been an encouraging beacon for those around him.

     

    Throughout his dental medicine career, Ronald A Dicarlo dedicated his energy and time to rehabilitating and enhancing his patients' smiles. His expertise is particularly notable in his crown and bridge work, a testament to his commitment and proficiency. Ron takes immense satisfaction in aiding people to regain their oral health and self-assurance, ensuring they leave his clinic with radiant smiles. While he might not have received distinct awards, the innumerable lives he has positively influenced and transformed speak volumes about his professional achievements.
